Geoffrey was trained in Tuina, the art of Traditional Chinese massage in 2000 at Chinese Academy of Chinese Traditional medicine in Beijing. He is also an experienced herbalist.

Dr. Zhong Zhao began studying acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine in 1987. She trained for 8 years at a leading medical university in China, earning a Master’s degree under the guidance of Chinese Medicine Grand Master Dr. Xue Wen Zhang, regarded as a national treasure in Chinese medicine.

- In 1996 I worked in Guang An Meng hospital, China's only TCM hospital that boasts British BUPA accreditation. I have given thousands of patients acupuncture and herbal medicine treatments in the hospital and have seen acupuncture and herbal medicine help and benefit so many patients. I can speak very good English then and gave lecture

I can speak very good English then and gave lectures and trainings to hundreds of overseas students from USA, Australia, Germany, France. At that time I was young and ambitious, I was encouraged by my colleagues to come to UK to fulfill my dream to practise acupuncture.

In 2000 I decided to move to Britain to work in a private clinic.
In 2001 Geoffrey built Imperial Herbary medical acupuncture clinic which is a huge success. Over 25 years We have helped thousands of patients to get well, some patients said acupuncture and herbal medicine profoundly transformed their life. Recently We set up a practice in Gloucester.
